J2EE/Flex Lead Application Developer

Minimum education and work experience required for position include: BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. * Minimum of 5 years of development and architecture experience in J2EE (Core Java and Web development), preferably with IBM technologies (IBM RAD 7 and WAS 6 or 7). Understanding of MVC, Abstract/Factory, DAO, Singleton patterns, experience with MVC frameworks such as Spring or STRUTS required. * Minimum of 2 years of development and architecture experience in RIA (Adobe Flex Builder 3.0 and higher) utilizing Cairngorm framework and Adobe data services (Blaze DS or Live Cycle DS). Experience with Flash player and Action Script is required; Knowledge of Adobe AIR is a plus; * Understanding of relational databases and experience in database connectivity and writing SQL (Sybase or MS SQL Server preferred) scripts and stored procedures. Knowledge of Hybernate is a plus; * Experience with test driven development (TDD) with JUnit, Flex Monkey, or Flex Unit is preferred; * Development of auto deployment process using Maven 2.0 scripts is preferred; * Experience working in IT financial sector is a plus; * Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field a plus.
